Coloursmith - Heritage Red

A project envisaged by Weave to launch 'Coloursmith' by Taubmans PPG - a new colour matching & visualisation technology to create your own bespoke paint colours through an app & website. 

As a creative, I was one of a select few to be approached to tell my individual colour story:

"In primary school (Japan), you're given a 'Hanko' of your name. I used it initially to sign my prints because I thought it looked cool. But subconsciously, I think it's my connection back to Japan. It's a tiny 'accent' of red, representing a more profound connection & a nod back to my heritage."

In crafting my colour story, I developed a series of artworks using 'Heritage Red' - a personalised paint colour inspired by my Japanese heritage and created using Coloursmith technology.
